Kate and Tim’s Acadia Elopement Photos
On a beautiful summer day in Acadia National Park, Kate and Tim, along with their two beautiful cuddly huskies Ghost and Kodah, eloped and joined me in traveling around Mount Desert Island, stopping at Jessup Path, Sand Beach, Jordan Pond, and Cadillac for portraits. It felt like I had known the pair for longer than a couple of hours as we palled around, popped blueberries into our mouths, and especially as I photographed Tim getting into his suit in broad daylight when we weren’t able to find a restroom. Ah, that was fun, wasn’t it, Tim? We concluded on Cadillac, where the pair read hand-written vows to one another as the sunset slowly changed over to twilight. I felt lucky when we had to head back to Jordan Pond to retrieve Kate’s bouquet, which had been left behind while enjoying blueberries because it meant I got to spend more time with the two of them.
Kate and Tim- come back soon! Maine misses you, and so do I!
Here’s a few of my favorite photos from our time together. Enjoy!
