Leah and Randall’s Coastal Maine Wedding
When Leah first told me about her wedding, I was smitten- a coastal Maine wedding, taking place on the ocean at a private residence, with fields of lupines? Does it get any better than that? But what made their wedding all the more special was Leah and Randall’s connection to one another. In Randall’s vows, he shared that the pair had been together for 7 years, 5 months, 10 days, 8 hours, and 42 minutes, and I remember smiling when I heard that, because it was clear how he felt each moment of their relationship was to be noted, tallied, and held dear. And the way Randall teared up as they shared their personalized vows was perfection, and acted as the solid punctuation on a visually perfect wedding day.
Later on, after all of their reception events were completed, we headed to the nearby harbor as the sun set and luckily Leah and Randall were into the idea of jumping into a rowboat for more photos. And, as you’ll see below, it was certainly worth it- it can be a bit harrowing to get into a wobbly boat wearing a suit or a wedding dress, but boating at sunset makes for incredible, incredible photos.
It was wonderful, as always, to work with R.L. Sisson Events and Bar Harbor Catering Co.- Rachel knows how to throw a well-timed and beautiful wedding, and Bar Harbor Catering’s food is always delectable.
These are a few of my favorites from Leah and Randall’s wedding day- enjoy!
