My Favorite 2021 Maine Wedding Photos
All good things must come to an end, and while I was happy when I finished my final Maine wedding of 2021 (it was a particularly busy season, and I was ready to hibernate), it was also a tad bittersweet. I had so much fun with my couples, their friends, and their families this season, and it was clear that they were all ready to party and celebrate! After quarantining and keeping a low profile in 2020, it was clear that 2021 was the year of good parties and good cheer, and it was exciting to capture all of the good energy that vibrated though each any every wedding. I can only imagine how PUMPED everyone will be in 2022- I’m looking forward to full dance floors, poignant toasts, and overflowing cheer.
I also spent a fair amount of this year photographing elopements (particularly Acadia elopements) and fell in love with sharing my favorite places in the park with my couples. We were witness to so many incredible views this year- sunsets on mountaintops, RAINBOWS, cliffside sunrises- and even though I’ve seen so much beauty in Maine, I’m always awed when I’m shown yet another stunning view. I felt so lucky to have shared these picturesque skies and landscapes with my couples.
I traveled all over the state of Maine to capture these weddings and elopements- from Blue Hill, to Mount Desert Island (Acadia National Park, Bar Harbor, Tremont, Northeast Harbor), Wiscasset, Ogunquit, Dedham, Falmouth, and Cape Elizabeth. I logged lots of miles (especially all over MDI), but it was worth it to capture so so so much joy.
Here are my favorite photos from 2021. 2022, I’m looking forward to what you’ll bring! And, if you look through this post and you like what you see.. you should contact me :).
