Kelly and Heidi’s Western Maine Wedding

I had only shared a phone call with Kelly and Heidi prior to their wedding day, so I didn’t know them very well, but as I scouted out the property with Tammie we ran into both of them as they put the final touches on the ceremony site.  And within moments of being in their presence I felt so lucky to be able to spend the entire day with these two incredible ladies.  For the most part, these two put together their wedding entirely by themselves- Heidi helped with the decorations, Kelly did all of the floral work, and I was, and still am, 100% impressed by all of the work they put into their big day.  Their wedding took place close to peak foliage at Lake Parlin Lodge in Jackman, Maine, and the view across the steely grey lake was perfectly fall in Maine.  From the ceremony, where guests surrounded Kelly and Heidi in a very cozy and intimate manner, to the reception, which featured a bonfire and a really, really, really energetic dance floor kept alive by the fabulous DJ Jodi, I didn’t really want to leave.

Thanks for letting me be part of your day, Kelly and Heidi!  So glad I got to capture your love!
