Jaimie and Cory’s Engagement Portraits at Jordan Pond
One of the best places in Maine to witness peak foliage is Acadia National Park on Mount Desert Island. Although northern and western Maine are perhaps better known for prime viewing when autumn is at its peak, Acadia provides a variety of different backdrops- whether you’d like to see brightly covered leaves against a pond, or the ocean, or from the top of a mountain, you have options when you visit MDI during the fall. Win! Jaimie and Cory chose to celebrate the foliage by taking their engagement portraits at Jordan Pond, which is simply breathtaking during autumn. It was a beautiful, sunny day, and we wandered around the pond finding scenic landscape after scenic landscape to work with while Jaimie and Cory told me about their wedding plans (they’ll be getting married in New York next year!). If only peak foliage lasted longer- the leaves have already fallen and turned brown in Maine and I’m missing how warm everything looked!
Here are some of my favorite portraits from their engagement session- enjoy!
