Jamey and Tom’s Elopement in Ogunquit, Maine
Jamey and Tom’s elopement really spoke to my heart, and choosing photos for this blog post has been bringing me back to how wonderful their Ogunquit Maine elopement was. What made this elopement so special to me was how much Jamey and Tom worked to include their vendor team into their elopement. Videographer extraodinare, Nora McCormack of SP Films (she’s rad, book her, you know you want to), wedding officiant Erika Hewitt (a delightful ray of sunshine that every wedding needs- also book her ASAP, I need to see her at more of my weddings!) and I started the day with Jamey and Tom by toasting to their upcoming ceremony, acted as bridesmaids when needed (veils can be tricky, and it was a breezy day!), and even all danced together on the Marginal Way in Ogunquit after Jamey and Tom shared their own first dance. We even took a group photo together, which really made me feel special (Tom said it was one of the most important photos of the day, which made me feel a bit teary and warm inside).
After the ceremony and some dancing, we traveled to York for some portraits at Nubble Light, utilizing some of the prettiest spots in southern coastal Maine for Jamey and Tom’s portraits. It may have been a touch windy, but it made Jamey’s veil dance in beautiful ways which made me the happiest photographer.
Other parts of Jamey and Tom’s wedding day that made me smile included:
- We may have borrowed a nightstand at the Gazebo Inn to use during the ceremony. Don’t worry, we had permission :)
- Tom sneakily put some M&M’s under Jamey’s pillow because they’re her favorite. My heart melted.
- Jamey’s yellow coat against the blue sky was magical. Magical!
Here are a few of my favorites from their incredible elopement. Enjoy! Jamey and Tom, may these help you remember how special your day was.
