Ann and Sam’s Blue Hill Maine Wedding
On a sunny September day, Ann and Sam’s Blue Hill Maine wedding took place in a field that was, as its name suggests, Windswept. It had just so happened to be a bit of a windy week already, so there had been some complications with the tent staying put, and there was some worry about how warm it would be on their wedding day, but all was perfect- the view was stunning, the sun beat down fiercely, and the veil didn’t fly off during the vows (although, to be honest, I would have been excited if it had!).
Ann and Sam’s wedding day was full of fun and surprises- from the ring Sam surprised Ann with during the ceremony, to a fireworks show (which unfortunately I wasn’t there to capture, as they occurred after my coverage ended-alas!), to a stunning, fiery sunset that drew everyone outside even as the temperature was falling, to very sweet and thoughtful toasts that lingered as twilight deepened… it was a day and night to remember.
The wedding day wouldn’t have been complete without Kristen of Beehive Creative Events at the wheel, and she did so flawlessly. Trillium Caterers provided beautiful, delicious food (as they always do!) and Soul Benders made sure the dance floor was filled with friends and family ready to party.
Here are a few of my favorite photos from Ann and Sam’s wedding day. Enjoy!
