Katie & Brian’s Northeast Harbor Engagement Portraits
Katie, Brian, and I spent the days prior to Katie and Brian’s engagement session watching the weather. It was a solid 50-60% chance of thunderstorms for awhile, and while I’m used to photographing in light rain (I’ve had many weddings over the years where I’ve gamely tackled portraits and even ceremonies while it’s rained), thunderstorms are a bit of a different story. However, the forecast quickly changed, and we were instead met with dreamy low-lying fog that skimmed over Little Long Pond in Northeast Harbor. It was perfect, and just as it should be. There’s nothing like Maine’s ever-changing forecasts that provide lots of surprises!
After spending some time at Little Long Pond, we went over to Katie’s grandmother’s property to look at where they’ll be having their intimate wedding next month (it’s such a beautiful spot, complete with a garden I can’t wait to photograph in again) and stopped by the nearby marina for portraits at dusk. September can’t come soon enough!
Here’s a few of my favorite portraits from Katie and Brian’s engagement session. Enjoy!
