Emily & Kristina | Maine Beauty Photography

Kristina is a bit of a muse for me– I discovered her more than a year ago when she walked into the office I worked for at the University of Maine and I thought, “she’s adorable!”  I chickened out about asking if she’d be interested in modeling for me, but I ended up running out the door, finding her at the office I had sent her to, and nervously asked her if she’d be interested.  She was, she said– she had a roommate, named Emily, who was a model but she’d never had the opportunity to model herself.  I kept that fact in the back of my mind and worked with Kristina twice in previous personal fashion and beauty shoots, and then had an idea; I wanted to do a shoot with two women, and whom better to do it than with two close friends?  Kristina, Emily, and I worked in a local greenhouse because it was rather chilly out, and the warm, humid air made it feel like summer.  Summer, can you come back, please?  This snow is pretty, but I’m a summer girl at heart!
