A lot of couples don’t consider sessions in winter because, well, it’s cold. But there’s lots of perks to a winter session– you can wear cute, cozy sweaters and jackets, snow provides the perfect backdrop for colors to pop, and the cold REQUIRES you to snuggle up to your fiance/é for warmth! And, for Sam and Ryan, winter seemed like the perfect choice– Ryan loves snowmobiling (so do I, except I always ride), and the both of them, as you’ll notice below, are hockey fans. The two of them are getting married this year at the Samoset Resort, and, frankly, I can’t wait!

We did their session at the Morgan Hill Event Center, which was excellent because we had access to the building and could escape inside whenever we needed a bit of a break from the cold. Here’s a peek into their session!
