Sara & Andrew’s Bar Harbor Club Tented Wedding

The Bar Harbor Club is such a lovely wedding venue- the architecture, the view of Frenchman Bay, and its central location makes for such a great spot for a Bar Harbor wedding. However, I had never had the opportunity to photograph a tented Bar Harbor Club wedding until Sara and Andrew’s event, and now I get the hype! While Bar Harbor Club offers a ballroom, there’s plenty of lawn for a tent to stand, overlooking the ocean, making for the perfect oceanside wedding.

Sara and Andrew wanted to maximize their time with guests, so we did a first look, where they opted to share private vows, and all of their group photos pre-ceremony. By doing that, Sara and Andrew were able to join their guests immediately after the ceremony, sipping already-made espresso martinis named after their beloved pup, Gunner and an incredible array of hors d’oeuvres.

We snuck out briefly at sunset for couples portraits on the beach, but otherwise, Andrew and Sara focused on spending time with their loved ones, and after emotional toasts, the dance floor was packed, and I even saw Andrew’s grandfather groove on the dance floor!

Here are a few of my favorite photos from Sara and Andrew’s wedding. Enjoy!
