Camden Maine Engagement Portraits | Tanya & Abe

Typically, most couples choose to do their engagements session several months to as much as a year prior to their wedding, but Tanya asked me if I would be willing to do their engagement photos the evening prior to their wedding.  Well.. why not?  It’s perfect timing for couples who may not be visiting their wedding location in the months leading up to their wedding day! The two dressed up and spent a couple of hours with me wandering around downtown Camden, Camden harbor, and the Camden Amphitheater before they made their grand appearance to their rehearsal dinner.  In some ways I think it helped that these two were getting married the very next day– they were happy, excited, and ever so snuggly with one another.  What a joy to photograph!

Camden, Maine is one of my favorite places for Maine engagement sessions. You have verdant areas for portraits, there’s a harbor that’s easy to access, and a quaint downtown. The downside is that Camden can be very busy during the summer, but it’s usually easy enough to avoid people, especially if your session is at sunset!
