Sarah & Jason’s Camp Mataponi Wedding
Sarah and Jason met when they were counselors at Kingsley Pines, a summer camp, so it was only fitting that they host their wedding at another nearby summer camp, Camp Mataponi. The two of them envisioned their loved ones spending a full weekend with them at the camp so that they could soak up as much time with them as possible, and it was fun to see guests walking around the property pre-ceremony, enjoying the space.
Samantha, Sarah’s sister, was given two important roles at Sarah’s wedding- not only was she to be Sarah’s flower girl (a role she had missed out on as a child due to Sarah often being chosen), but also her Maid of Honor. Samantha started the procession by walking down the aisle in her confirmation gown, expertly tossing petals, and then did a quick change back into her bridesmaid dress to finish out the procession perfectly.
After many heartfelt toasts and formal dances, the dance floor opened up, and wow, it was such a blast to capture! The energy was high- shots were being downed, the dancing was wild, and at just the right moment in time, Sarah changed into a jumpsuit, much to the excitement of everyone present.
Here are a few of my favorite moments from Sarah and Jason’s wedding day, enjoy! And, Sarah and Jason, I hope you enjoyed your honeymoon in Tanzania!
