Teresa and Ed’s Cliffside Acadia Elopement
On a mid October day, Teresa and Ed traveled from Maryland, along with their favorite people, in order to elope in Acadia National Park. We met at one of my favorite ponds on Mount Desert Island and started with portraits there, which was still resplendent with fall foliage. I was thrilled that Teresa’s daughters, Ashleigh and Alyssa, joined us, as they were super helpful with holding Teresa’s bouquet and tossing Teresa’s amazing cape when needed. We then took a short drive to a cliffside location (the best thing about Acadia is that within a few minute drive you can explore an abundance of different backdrops- beaches, cliffs, ponds, fields, mountains and woods), and we caught the sunset as Teresa and Ed said their vows. Due to the breezy day and partially cloudy skies, we were gifted with a stunning sunset colors and waves that crashed against the rocks. As I always like to note, abnormal weather often results in incredible backdrops!
Here’s a few of my favorite photos from Teresa and Ed’s elopement. Enjoy!
