Eastport Maine Wedding Photographer | Jenn & Wally

As Jenn got ready at her parents’ home in Calais, ME, she was calm and collected.  She was, quite frankly, one of the most at ease brides I have ever photographed.  But, as she walked down the aisle with her father, the tears began to fall.  She was finally marrying Wally, her significant other for the past years, and it was impossible to stay easygoing and cool.  From then on out, after her ceremony and throughout her reception, she continued to cry happily as she danced, during the toasts… it was, from my perspective, a series of lovely moments that showed how much this day meant to her and Wally, and it was absolutely divine.

It was raining and looking pretty grim outside for much of the time that Jenn got ready, but then the sky suddenly turned blue.  We all delighted in this turn of weather.

The flower girl was rather jubilant and filled with energy.

Seriously, Jenn rocked out those boots and were the perfect addition to her rustic wedding.

Once Jenn and her lovely bridesmaids were ready, we headed over to Rossport Farms, a gorgeous ceremony locale.

This birch ceremony arch was build specifically for their wedding– love the H and B details on the sides (the initials of their two last names).

The view was just incredible.  I’m hoping to visit Eastport again sooner rather than later!

After the ceremony and portraits, we headed to Jenn and Wally’s house for a delightful and relaxed reception in Charlotte, ME.  Guests were instructed to dress down for their reception so that it would be a easygoing affair.

I loved Wally and Jenn’s rustic and sweet wedding details.

Get this- Jenn MADE four varieties of barbeque sauce, bottled them, and gave them as favors.  As a barbeque sauce connoisseur,  I was pretty excited about this.

I was a huge fan of the parent dances.

And then the rest of the evening was spent eating delicious barbecue by Husa’s Catering, dancing, meandering around, catching of frogs, and, of course, dancing.
