Liz & Antonio’s Fall Acadia Elopement
Liz and Antonio traveled to Acadia, a favorite location of theirs, to elope amongst all the beauty in Acadia National Park. They lucked out- even though foliage was technically past peak by their elopement date, there will still some lovely color on the trees that provided some stunning color in the backdrops of their photos. Joined by Malen Hsu (a new favorite Acadia officiant of mine!) we witnessed Liz and Antonio become husband and wife on a set of cliffs overlooking Sand Beach. A few onlookers cheered from far away after Liz and Antonio kissed, and their reactions of glee to the onlookers’ excitement made my heart feel lighter.
Throughout the elopement ceremony I was particularly enamored with how Antonio was always there for Liz- from how he helped move a pesky tendril of hair from her face during the ceremony, to how delicately he held Liz’ hand as he slid her wedding ring on her finger- it was all so sweet. Throughout the rest of the afternoon I noticed how he was always there to help her move around the cliffs and rugged Maine terrain, and turned out to be an expert veil thrower. Couple goals!
Here are a few favorite photos from Liz and Antonio’s elopement. Enjoy!
