Maine Wedding Photographer | Favorite Wedding Photos of 2011

It’s that time of the year when many of us reflect back on the year that has just flown past.   Since photography has been such a huge part of my life this year, I’m naturally spending a lot of my reflecting time thinking about what worked this year, and what didn’t.  I’ve been rummaging through the wedding photos I took and thought I’d share some of my very favorites from the weddings I shot this year.

I’m a huge fan of details, which is why several of my favorites are, well… details.

Another thing I love a whole lot– unscripted emotion.  For example, joy:

…intense determination…

and, perhaps the most important of all… LOVE!

While I may love unscripted photos more than the posed variety, a good formal can still rock my world.

And last, but not least, the sun setting over a glorious party founded on love and happiness.

Thank you, brides and grooms, for letting me shoot/second shoot your weddings!  I feel honored to have had the privilege.  And to my 2012 couples– I CAN’T wait to have the opportunity to capture your special day.  I feel like the luckiest woman in the world to have such a wonderful job!
