Instagram Friday | Playing Catch Up
Hello there, my dear readers! I’ve kind of let Instagram Friday slide for the last few weeks– I ended up being much busier than anticipated with capturing weddings, senior portraits, and engagement sessions! The good times continue next week as well– after my wedding tomorrow (in Eastport!) I’ll be doing two engagement sessions next week. I may be busy, but there’s nothing better than spending my time with interesting people and capturing how they love one another!
How about we play catch up? Here are a few of my favorite Instagram photos from the last few weeks. By the way– do you follow me on Instagram? I don’t include all of the photos I Instagram here, so it’s a great way to follow my day to day life.
Earlier this month I photographed a Peaks Island Maine wedding at Harbor View at Jones Landing, and I took this photo as I left the island via ferry that night.
I stayed in Portland that night, and spent the morning wandering around the harbor– the sky was cloudy and gorgeous.
I met up with many other wedding photographers in Casco, where we swam in this beautiful lake and talked about our seasons (and was teased by the other photographers about lake sharks– I’m not sure if I’ve shared this with you all, but I have a fear of all aquatic creatures, especially squid, octopus, and.. sharks. Shudder).
It’s been either raining a lot recently, or we’ve had ridiculous hot and humid weather. What happened to Maine’s famous temperate summers?
After heading back from creating some gorgeous Camden Maine engagement portraits I stopped and captured this cotton candy sunset.
Every year I try to head up to Cadillac Mountain with Tony to see the sunrise. I always romanticize the trip in my head, but it never seems to go perfectly. This time around it was bitterly cold and windy, and naturally I was only wearing sandals and a light jacket. Nevertheless, it was gorgeous, despite the fact that I woke up at 3am to see it.
More rainy day photos– might as well capitalize on all the puddles, reflections, and delicate raindrops!
And that’s it for now, folks! See you again next week with weddings, senior sessions, and engagements galore!
