Stephanie & Alex’s Mount Desert Island Elopement

Stephanie contacted me a little more than a month prior to her elopement and asked if I had availability to photograph her Mount Desert Island elopement. And I did! While many couples contact me more than a year out, it’s not unusual for couples to contact me last minute (I even once booked an elopement 24 hours prior!), so while it’s easier to plan if you book an elopement a few months out, you can definitely make last minute elopements in Acadia happen, especially if you have ten or less guests. We visited a few scenic spots in Acadia right at sunset, when the park quiets down, and we were rewarded with a soft, cotton-candy sky and a rippled ocean.
