Liz and Kevin’s Northeast Harbor Intimate Wedding
A few days before their wedding, Liz and Kevin reached out to me- they were concerned about the potential thunderstorms in the weather forecast, and wanted to know if they could move their wedding to the day prior. While it’s often hard, if not impossible, to entirely change wedding dates because of vendor schedules, we were able to schedule their ceremony and portraits for the day prior, and then had their dinner and celebration on their original wedding date. In a sense, Liz and Kevin’s intimate wedding in Northeast Harbor became even better- they got to celebrate their marriage over the course of two days, and I got to be there for all of it!
Liz and Kevin met at a wedding on MDI, so it only made sense for them to also get married on the island. The pair got ready in a house in Northeast Harbor, and then hopped into a Bentley, which drove them to the cliffs in Acadia for a picturesque ceremony. After we finished the ceremony and family portraits, we wandered around the park until sunset. The next day, I met back up with them at their rental home, where they hosted an intimate dinner and everyone toasted to Liz and Kevin.
While spending time with Liz and Kevin, I discovered that there were not only proud parents to a bulldog named Walter, but that Walter had once filled the role of Handsome Dan, the official and beloved Yale mascot. There were bulldog references throughout the wedding, but you may spot adorable bulldogs on Kevin’s socks.
Here are a few favorite photos from Liz and Kevin’s wedding. Enjoy!
