Portland Maine Couples Photographer | Sarah & Oscar
I was drawn to Sarah the first time I met her in person, at a summer wedding photographer get together. She was vivacious, a little bit sassy, and exactly the type of person I look for in a good friend! So, when she asked me if I would photograph her and her husband, Oscar, for Sarah’s website (she’s a pretty fabulous New Hampshire wedding photographer!) I started to count down the days until our session.
Sarah started out with makeup and hair done by Teague Vivolo, and we then met up with Oscar, who ended up being just as delightful as Sarah herself (no surprise there)! There was no warming up needed for these two– as we wandered the Old Port in Portland, and then finished at the always awesome Kettle Cove in Cape Elizabeth, these two effortlessly cuddled, giggled, and laid out their love for one another right in front of me in a way that my camera was definitely loving. In short, I’m kind of in love with these two and can’t wait to see them sooner rather than later!
Here’s a few of my favorites from our time together.
These two met at a concert in LA, and Oscar reeled her in by showing her photos of his cats on his flip phone. Classic move, Oscar! Cats, flip phones… what’s not to love?
I’ve shared my love countless time for Kettle Cove, but I’ll say it again– this portrait location has it all! There’s a beach, rocks that jut out to the sea, woodsy paths… you can’t go wrong with the variety of backdrops.
Kettle Cove, by the way, is an excellent location for sunset watching– there’s not many places in Maine where the sun sets over the ocean!
Sarah and Oscar, I adore you two. Looking forward to seeing you soon!
