Spring is coming!

Today was the first day this year that it really felt like spring was right around the corner.  I went for my first run outdoors in months and the high 40s weather felt absolutely fantastic.  Even though I chose a 4 mile uphill route I managed it, and it felt good.

When I got home, I wanted to go out and document spring’s near arrival, so I grabbed my camera and headed out to a field that I had wanted to check out for a future photo shoot.  The sun was setting and the light was buttery and warm and I happily snapped away.

And the sunset was divine.

Walking through that soggy field, which was beginning to look a little more green than brown, and taking in such a lovely show in the sky was the perfect cap to a bright, spring-like day.
