Brenda and Desmond’s Engagement Portraits in Acadia
You may look at these portraits and say, “wait.. this is an engagement session? That looks like a wedding dress and a suit… isn’t this an Acadia elopement?” but I promise you- Brenda and Desmond aren’t tying the knot for a little while longer! These two had a more casual engagement session in Los Angeles, but the pair wanted to do a formal Acadia engagement session. And, what a day we had! We may have missed peak foliage (it arrived a week late in Acadia National Park this year, but check out this site to guesstimate Maine peak foliage season in any given year), but we still had some soft pops of fall color which were perfectly complimented by the pastel hues in the sunset. And isn’t Brenda’s frothy concoction of a dress amazing?
We visited many locations on the park loop road, including a marshy field, Jordan Pond, and we ended at Cadillac Mountain at sunset. Cadillac is always so much fun to visit at sunset, as the panoramic views of Mount Desert Island are simply incredible. I strongly recommend when you visit Acadia National Park that you take the time to view the island from a mountaintop!
Here are a few of my favorite photos from my session with Brenda and Desmond. Here’s to hoping your wedding in Singapore is absolutely wonderful!
