Imagine that you’re a small girl, running through your house in the way that only a little girl can, finding adventures under couch cushions and amongst the blankets in the linen closet.  You’re sprinting along, letting your arms windmill, when you spot a trunk in the attic.  It’s hardwood, strong and reassuring amongst the several decaying cardboard boxes that pepper the room, and it has secrets that you’re dying to know.  You kneel, and as you struggle to lift the heavy lid you see dust particles rise and find new homes amongst the clutter.  As you finally lift the trunk open, you see something amazing.  It resembles a fluffy white cloud, and you decide it is the sort of dress that only a fairy would wear.  It is the most perfect thing you’ve ever seen.  Do I dare put it on? you wonder for only the smallest of moments before you slip it over your head, and although you are still from this realm, flesh and bone, you feel magic welling up in your palms.  So you sprint down the stairs, impatiently allowing your mother to pull a sweater on over your head because it’s a cold, nippy day, and fly through the woods.  Yes, you think, there’s work to be done.

Jacquie, you’re amazing.  I knew we were going to have fun after you couldn’t stop laughing for the first.. half hour?  Actually, I think you laughed almost continuously the entire time.  You’re a charmer and a stunner, that’s for sure.
