Shanley & Sean’s MDI Elopement
Is there anything better than an adventurous Acadia elopement? Shanley and Sean, joined by their friends, Hunter and Will, roadtripped from Vermont to Acadia to not only enjoy a well-earned vacation, but to also elope in Acadia National Park! After Shanley slipped into her dress in the woods (oh, I do love it when my couples get dressed outside!), and Hunter helped with Sean’s boutonniere, we found the perfect spot at Otter Cliffs for the pair to soak each other in and make their partnership official. After their ceremony, we took a few more portraits at Otter Cliffs, and then afterwards continued on to Cadillac Mountain to enjoy golden hour and the sunset (just look at how warm the light was right before sunset!). After we finished with portraits, the foursome DEVOURED a blueberry pie together (by the way, if you didn’t know, the Maine state berry is blueberries, so a blueberry pie is perfect for a Maine wedding or elopement). I was told it was absolutely delicious, and I’m pretty certain they couldn’t have ended their day in a better way. I need to see more desserts at elopements!
Here’s a few of my favorite photos from Shanley and Sean’s elopement. Enjoy!
