Corinne & Ben’s Mini Golf Elopement

I felt right at home with Corinne and Ben when I met them in a parking lot for their fall Acadia elopement. Ben immediately told me I was the adult for the afternoon and to lead the way, which I was happy to do. Even better, he’d say “follow your heart!” when I’d ask if they’d mind doing various things, like climbing rocks to get the photo. There’s nothing better than couples who give me lots of freedom, so it was such a joy to capture their elopement.

After portraits at Sand Beach, we headed to the cliffs for their ceremony. It was lead by Anna Brooke, who I had never worked with before, but her energy was incredible and their ceremony was perfect. After the two were officially married, they shared a few minutes alone, sipping on champagne, checking out their rings, and enjoying the view. We then continued on, visiting other iconic locations in Acadia, and enjoying the fall foliage (which wasn’t quite peak, but still providing some beautiful color).

Since Corinne and Ben play mini golf a couple times a year, they decided to end our time together with a round at Golf of Maine, a sweet and picturesque mini golf course in Southwest Harbor. As twilight descended they competed, and when I left them after a handful of holes Corinne was in the lead.

A special shoutout to Elise and Chris, who referred me to Corinne and Ben (and also eloped in Acadia last year!).

Here’s a few of my favorite photos from our time together- enjoy!
