Sarah & Brandon’s Vesper Hill Children’s Chapel Elopement
Sarah and Brandon’s elopement, which took place at Vesper Hill Children’s Chapel, was both a celebration of and a farewell to Maine. The pair, who had decided to relocate to Washington to be closer to family, had decided to elope the day before they planned to leave Maine. Their plan was to drive cross country for a week in a half, in separate cars, but they’d have walkie talkies so that they’d feel as if they were driving together. But, on this one day, Sarah and Brandon were together in Maine, beaming, as their officiant made their relationship official (and I, along with their baker, served as a witness to their vows!)
After the ceremony, we all enjoyed chocolate cake, and Sarah and Brandon shared a spontaneous first dance. We then continued to take portraits in the Vesper Hill Children’s Chapel gardens and then ended portraits at Mt. Battie, where we were graced with stunning views of Camden Harbor and a cloud-laced blue sky. Sarah had on high heels, but it didn’t stop her from going wherever I asked her to, which made her incredibly brave in my book. I was in awe with how these two looked at and held each other- the love I felt from them was frankly #couplesgoals.
Here’s a few of my favorite photos from our time together. Enjoy!
