Chloe & Will’s Wonderland Trail Acadia Engagement Portraits

I’m always fond of when my couples are down to hike, so when Chloe and Will agreed to join me on the Wonderland trail in Acadia National Park for their engagement session.. I was stoked. Chloe and Will were supposed to get married during their time in Maine, but felt that it would be best if they postponed and hope for a more normal and safe experience next year. They hadn’t planned on initially doing an engagement session, but figured, if they weren’t going to get married this year.. why not? It was a perfect opportunity for us to get to know each other better and celebrate their relationship around the time of their original wedding date.

Chloe and Will met through mutual friends- Will was on a gap year, and Chloe, Will, and a group of their friends met up. Everyone else was in finance, so Chloe and Will, who weren’t in finance, gravitated toward each other, and the rest is history. They were long distance for awhile, and would take turns visiting each other on weekends, but now luckily live together.

I had such a fun time with the two of them as we climbed upon the rocks and played around in the water. I was a tiny bit nervous, as Chloe was an art major and had a concentration in photography, but it was also equally thrilling to make photos for her- after all, it’s such an honor to be selected by someone who knows photography!
