Jen & Kindle’s Bar Harbor Inn Elopement

Jen reached out to me a month or so prior to their elopement to ask if I was available to photograph it, and I was thrilled that I was! While most of my elopement couples book me anywhere from half a year to a year out, I sometimes have last minute availability and have even had couples book me the day prior before!

On the day of, Jen and Kindle got ready for their day at Bar Harbor Inn with their daughters, Avery and Emilia, and had their ceremony on Bar Harbor Inn’s Bayview Lawn. At the end of their ceremony, Kindle surprised us all by dipping Jen dramatically after their first kiss. Jen and Kindle dance every Friday night, and as you’ll see throughout these photos, they had several different dips that they pulled out during portraits.

After we took some portraits with their kids and their parents, Jen, Kindle, and I drove around the Park Loop Road, stopping at a few spots for portraits. The clouds kept shifting around all day, so by the time we arrived to Jordan Pond, we had beautiful fog to play with.

Here are a few of my favorite photos from our time together in Bar Harbor and Acadia. Enjoy!
